Description
Assassins are a special breed, usually not considered a unit per se.
Examples
The Skåret assassins of the JàrnFòlk represent one of the rumors of infantry less well documented on the Periphery. There is a wide-range of rumors regarding these assassin teams, but the inability to locate or observe them speaks either to their acumen or their nonexistence. What is known is based largely on conjecture and crime scene evidence in the Hanseatic League. It is believed that the Skåret assassins operate in three-man or more—teams. While they are able to kill from a distance with rifles, they are also blamed for many deaths via blade, pistol and poison. Their ability to evade detection leads many to believe they possess sneak suits that rivals those of DEST operatives.[1] According to one report, at least some of these lethal assassins are believed to be exiles from their own society, who now sell their deadly services to the highest bidder.[2]
Armament
They are supposed to use Sniper Rifles and Heavy Pistols.[1]
