Template:Update needed

Purpose

This Update Needed template should be used on an article that has been identified as needing information provided within a product not yet used within the article (and possibly currently under BattleTechWiki's moratorium policy). Doing so will also automatically place the article within the Sources needing updates category.

Please do not add it to articles until after the moratorium period has passed as there is no reason why the missing information cannot be included in the article directly (instead of the tag).

Also, please refrain from adding this tag unless you are positively sure that the new source contains new, meaningful information on the subject at hand.

Usage

Cut and paste {{Update Needed|[[product article name]]}} into the top of the article.

For example:

{{Update Needed|[[Handbook: Major Periphery States]]}}

Will display:

Multiple sources

If updates are needed from more than one source, up to 15 sources can be specified, separated by the | character.

{{Update Needed|[[Product article name 1]]|[[Product article name 2]]|[[Product article name 3]]|...}}

For example:

{{Update Needed|[[Handbook: Major Periphery States]]|[[The Periphery, 2nd Edition (sourcebook)]]|[[Field Manual: Periphery]]}}

Will display:
