Description

A middleweight ProtoMech, the Triton was designed by Clan Goliath Scorpion for their Seekers.[2]

Armament

The main weapon, a Streak SRM-4, is very conservative with its ammunition, while the ER Micro Laser provides a weapon that isn't tied to logistical bases. This is very useful for a Goliath Scorpion Seeker, as they may be far away from Goliath Scorpion resources for a long time.

In an offensive capacity, the ammunition efficiency of the Triton makes it a good choice for extended raiding or reconnaissance missions.[2]

Variants

Fire support version exists that mounts an LRM-3 and a dozen rounds of ammunition in place of the Streak SRM-4. The Proto mounts an ER Small Laser and second ER Micro Laser makes up the difference in tonnage.[2]
