Profession | MechWarrior |
Veronica Monteiro-Montoya was a member of Lamenkov's Liability in 3085.[1]
History[edit]
She was born on Sevren. It is not known where she trained as a MechWarrior but she became quickly a mercenary working for several commands. Most of the commands sent her out on solo missions to disrupt or harass enemy operations thanks to her ability to distract hostile forces and still inflict significant logistical damage. She came to the Republic in the aftermath of Spica, when the mercenary force she belonged to (Breaker's Dozen) was destroyed. She received an opportunity to join Stone's Lament as a proven warrior.
She was chosen by General Belle Lee to act be part of the Errant Force Lamenkov's Liability.
She saw action with the unit in Schedar during 3085 against the Schedar Enlightenment and Liberation Force.[2]
Personality[edit]
She was a loner with a major discipline problem (with several record of insubordination). It has been noted that she seems to genuinely dislike all members of any command she works for, and only relates pleasantly with people outside of a military profession. Rumor is she killed at least two of her prior commanding officers when she was still a mercenary.[1]
BattleMechs[edit]
By 3085 she was piloting a customized PRF-1R Prefect Veronica, which suited her skills very well.[1]
