This is a very small academy on Solaris VII that trains basically Mechwarrior wannabees still working in 3053.[1]
History
The Warner MechWarrior Academy is a far cry from the Great Houses' military academies, that lives thanks to the egos of numerous wannabees MechWarriors who flock to Solaris.
For the last 25 years the Academy has formed more than "500" Mechwarriors, though the Academy rarely acknowledges that a mere handful are still alive.[1]
Staff
The Warner MechWarrior Academy is run by Clease Vanderholf, who covers all positions in the Academy.[1]
Facilities
Warner Mechwarrior Academy occupies the grounds of an old appartment complex and a nearby factory in Kalamazoo.[1]
Training
At least six students are enrolled in the Academy's 16-week combat course at any given time.
Students to be MechWarrior train in four Chameleons in a rather shoddy condition.[1]
Notes
Local news papers periodically run exposes on Werner Mechwarrior Academy and rewards against the con man's head from families grieving from their loss of a son or a daughter who trained there are not unheard of.[1]
