Star Captain Abel Klien was a founding member of Clan Ice Hellion and the Klien Bloodname.[1]
History[edit]
Klien participated in Operation KLONDIKE, ilKhan Nicholas Kerensky's campaign to reconquer the Pentagon Worlds.[1]
This included the fighting on Babylon near the city of New Drineshane on the Solath continent, particularly against the rebel forces of Marshal Vence Membek. After being defeated during a battle in the city by Clan units, after emerging from hiding in the sewers, Membek retreated via that some route. Falling back through the settlements of Hendrae, Goshen, Bougainville and Roenich, Membek made his last stand in a hilltop firebase near New Athens.
Klien led a star of 'Mechs which was dropped onto Membek's firebase, killing Membek and effectively ending the resistance against the Clans in that region.[2]
