Overview[edit]
In 3127 the pirate band Glorious Mayhem attacked the Fronc Reaches world of Appian. The pirates grounded their DropShip away from the planetary capital where Planetary Command Marshall Sudarshan Ramanathan had stationed the bulk of the Appian Militia and a lance of his Colonial Marshals. Taking a lance of Anubises he harried the pirates from range, who found it difficult to respond with accurate fire. As the pirates began to retreat, Ramanathan moved to cut them off at their Dropship, managing to inflict severe damage on it in the process. Though the exchange with the DropShip cost Ramanathan his life, the pirates were bloodied in the raid and were forced to leave most of their loot behind.[1][2][3]
