Cerberus was, as of 3133, a secretive self-proclaimed watchdog group active on Towne.[1]
History[edit]
In 3133, Cerberus claimed that its members had been observing ComStar for many years, including tracking HPG transmissions. Throughout 3133, they noticed a number of HPG-like signals, both arriving at Towne and sent by Towne's HPG station, despite the Blackout.[1]
On 2 August 3133, Cerberus, as well as the Towne Investigative Committee, confirmed to INN that Towne had received an exceptional partial HPG transmission that day, with sources in ComStar indicating the signal had come from Achernar. Both Cerberus and the Committee also provided INN reporters background information on HPGs.[1]
