Major General Dewitt Strohmeyer was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 321st BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]

Facing civilian unrest on their garrison world of Illiushin, Strohmeyer and his 321st BattleMech Division struggled to implement their Corps CO Major General Luisa Campos desire for spit and polish professionalism, in the face of daily protests and rock-throwing incidents.
These problems also forced Strohmeyer to deploy his BattleMechs to cities to support his infantry, despite commanding a Division which much preferred open-field battles.[1]
