Fredrick Hogarth was commander of the Furillo BPM in the wake of the Jihad.

Unit morale was a serious problem during his time commanding the unit, though these issues manifested mostly by troops going AWOL to visit tourist locations, such as the Snord Museum on Clinton, rather than any truly mutinous behavior. For their museum excursion, Fredrick Hogarth punished his troops by confining them to Furillo's capitol city of Telesian for a month, which coincided with the local Oktoberfest.[1]
In 3128, Hogarth had been promoted to Hauptmann-General, serving as aide to the Margrave of Arc-Royal Theater. He was among the dignitaries attending the thousandth anniversary of the Second Donegal Guards. He was held in low regard by some junior officers of the regiment, who amused themselves by making fun of him out of earshot. Following the anniversary's interruption by Clan Jade Falcon, Hogarth was seen driving an Atlas and repeatedly kicking a destroyed Loki.[2]
Despite his history of problems, by 3145 he had become the Margrave of Arc-Royal.[3]
