Georgina Howard was the commander of the Davion Light Guards in 2829.[1]

Howard, commanding the Davion Light Guards, was in charge of the Federated Suns' invasion of the Capellan Confederation planet of Farwell in 2829. Facing the mercenary Forty-second Striker Regiment of the Twelfth Star Guards, Howard's presumed rapid victory failed to materialize as Felix Mansell's troops fought a dogged defense. The mercenaries, while under intense pressure from the Light Guards, still managed to launch limited offensive raids against Howard's more exposed positions and supply lines. In one of these raids, the mercenaries went so far as to capture an entire company of Davion infantry, although the prisoners were surprised at the humane treatment granted to them by the Star Guards' forces.[1]
By mid-September, it became clear to the Forty-second Strikers that no reinforcements would be coming, leading them to release their prisoners and prepare to depart off-world. At this point, Howard sent an unexpected message to the mercenaries' commander, offering them an unmolested retreat in return for their honorable conduct during the fight for the planet.[1]
