History[edit]
Early Career[edit]
A native of the Magistracy of Canopus, Firova was a graduate of the Sandhurst Royal Military College.[1]
10th Fleet[edit]
Firova was promoted to lead the 10th Fleet in 2757, which she commanded from her flagship the SLS Drakon, shortly after Commanding General Aleksandr Kerensky oversaw the Operation PERSUASIVE FORCE exercises within the Terran Hegemony. Firova was considered an appropriate choice for the periphery based 10th Fleet, as her Magistracy of Canopus background was thought to give her a better understanding of the independent minded Outworlds Alliance.
Soon after taking over her fleet, she ordered it to conduct exercised based on PERSUASIVE FORCE, with its Outworlds area of operations.[1]
Periphery Uprising[edit]
The SLDF's reasoning for Firova's promotion to lead 10th Fleet almost backfired at the commencement of the Periphery Uprising, which caused Firova to have conflicted loyalties. She was however able to put aside her personal feelings, and focus on the rule of law. Despite this, some within the SLDF still sought her replacement with someone whose loyalties were clearer, though Commanding General Kerensky choose to trust in her abilities and allegiance.[2]
Operation EXODUS[edit]
Kerensky's trust was repaid by Firova through-out the Amaris Civil War, during which her battle record was exemplary, and she survived the conflict to join him on Operation EXODUS in 2784.[2]
