Sergeant Ito Montoya was an Armor Commander with Hansen's Roughriders in the 3020s.[1]

Montoya, together with Captain Dexter Finchly and Corporal Peter Foyle, were the first armor crew to take a Patton tank into combat.
Facing raid a raid by the Free Worlds League's 33rd Marik Militia on the Lyran Commonwealth world of Solaris VII sometime soon after 3020, their prototype Patton acquitted itself admirably.[1]
