Dr. Ivan Kjellsdottir was, as of 3136, dean of the Irian Technical Training School imaging department and division chair of the IMB Systems Advanced Sensors Group.[1]

In April 3136, after footage of an unknown BattleMech - later identified as the Ares - had been made available on LinkNet, Dr. Kjellsdottir released an analysis of the footage conducted with his students at the Irian Technical Training School. The analysis suggested that the unknown 'Mech weighed between 125 and 175 tons. Fellow staff member Shelly Crown was the point of contact for anyone interested in purchasing the article.[1]
