Profile | |
Profession | Solaris Games Commentator, Pirate Newscaster |
Mariko Guardado was a Solaris Games commentator turned anti-Blakist newscaster.[1]
History[edit]
Before the Word of Blake capture of Solaris, Mariko Guardado was an announcer for Steiner Stadium fights along her partner and lover Patricia Bracken. When the Blakists took the system, they coerced Mariko into acting as a commentator for their own rigged matches. Eventually, Mariko escaped.[1] She was able to escape thanks to her efforts along those of Patricia Bracken to save Giuseppe Kishi from the Word of Blake, who had brainwashed him and renamed as Vision of Judgment.[2]
Once out of Blakist control, Mariko became the host of the anti-Blakist pirate 'cast Word Against Blake, seeking to counter Word of Blake propaganda and dedicating herself to the truth. In August 3072, she covered the Regulan invasion of Gibson, including the killing of Elsa Granelli.[1]
