Major General Mario LaPota was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 116th BattleMech Division until 2764.[1]
History[edit]
LaPota murdered his wife and her lover, before committing suicide, in early 2764. Upon his death he was replaced as commander of the 116th BattleMech Division by Major General Pilar Rodriguez-Vargas, who as one of the 116th's Brigade commanders, had been a friend and mentee of LaPota.[1]
