Moira Tangara-Forius-Steiner was a notable officer in the Fourth Lyran Guards during the Age of War.[1]
History[edit]
Kommandant Tangara-Forius Steiner followed the traditional path of a younger child of minor Lyran nobility into the armed forces, though she showed real enthusiasm for the new MechWarrior training program. Moira's impoverished family could only purchase her a kommandant's billet but her name still placed her at the head of the line to receive a new Ymir. When Moira's regiment joined the "Long March" campaign of 2463 against the Draconis Combine, she became a minor celebrity after the Lyran press excitedly trumpeted a member of the extended Steiner family taking the fight to the Draconis Combine in a native BattleMech.[1]
