Major General Nerla Mirza was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's Thirteenth Jump Infantry Division (The BlackCats) from 2753 to at least 2764.[1]

On taking command of the 13th Jump Infantry Division in 2753, in an attempt to increase the operational advantages arising from a pre-existing confusion amongst some with the similarly named Thirteenth Royal Infantry Division (the Superstition Division), Mirza petitioned to change her units official symbol to more closely resemble the black cat of the Superstition Division's logo.[1]
