Lieutenant General Nolan Murphy was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 49th Mechanized Infantry Division from 2764.[1]
History[edit]
When a young officer, the then Lieutenant Murphy won the Star League Medal of Valor, after taking command of a Battalion that had lost of its more senior officers to a bandit attack. Murphy rallied the remaining troops and counter attacked, destroying the entire bandit force.
In 2764 Murphy was promoted to lead the 49th Mechanized Infantry Division, following the suspicious death of his predecessor in an aircraft crash on Sendalor, Major General Nancy Hudson. Facing an uncooperative local Capellan Confederation government, Murphy launched an investigation into the crash, as did Star League Intelligence Command.[1]
