Porfirio Filardo was a notable warrior in Shepperton's Freebooters during the Reunification War.[1]
History[edit]
Sergeant Filardo was a veteran of the Third Andurien War and was one of many Capellan MechWarriors released from service after the founding of the Star League. Filardo came out of retirement during the Reunification War to join Shepperton's Freebooters, a group of like-minded veterans worried that Marik influence in the Star League Defense Force would return Andurien to the Free Worlds League. Initially tolerated by Capellan authorities, the Freebooters' raids on Marik worlds eventually caused a diplomatic ruckus. Thus, Filardo found himself fighting not Leaguers but fellow Capellans under strict orders from the Chancellor to suppress the deserters.[1]
