Ruger Winters was a reporter with Skye Broadcasting during the Word of Blake Jihad.[1]

Winters was on Summer after its liberation from the Word of Blake by the Kell Hounds in February 3077, at which time he recorded an interview with Kell Hounds officer Lieutenant Colonel Akira Brahe. Winters, against the advice of his cameraman, during this interview attempted to challenge Brahe over his Mercenary status and the supposed failure of Daniel Allard. Brahe reacted so violently to these accusations however that Winters soiled himself in fear.[1]
