Talk:Field Manual: 3085

Product Code[edit]

When originally advertised, Field Manual: 3085 was listed on the BattleShop and DriveThruRPG as having a product code of 35221. It was highlighted to Catalyst Game Labs that this was the same product code as that used on Era Report: 3052. It was confirmed by the Line Developer that this was an error, and that the correct number is 35250. BrokenMnemonic 01:30, 15 January 2012 (PST)

This product was released as a PDF on 12 January 2012. As I am unawares of the release date in DTF, I am setting the moratorium as of the January date. If anyone else has any additional data that provides a later release of the DTF, please indicate here and change the moratorium period accordingly. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 16:33, 17 February 2012 (PST)

The product is reported to have a street date of 21 March, hence a May 21st date for moratorium cancellation. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 09:06, 7 March 2012 (PST)
Hm, this give me some headache from which we work from, the pdf moratorium or the street date, i found this a little bit curious, the pdf release match the moratorim to the 12th March, i know the print version comes later, the pdf was first published and can use as source in my view, for me is relevant when the first product take place, and this is the pdf version, i hope of some response.--Doneve 16:05, 11 March 2012 (PDT)
As per Policy:Moratorium its always been two months after the release of the "prime" version of a title, for dual pdf/DTF the print is considered better version (partly because PDF releases are ending up as public beta and print gets errata updates before publication) its only two months from pdf for stuff that is pdf only. Cyc nailed it, Doneve. The 2 months from electronic release applies only to products that are only released electronically. For those intended to be released in dead tree format (DTF), the moratorium expires 2 months after it is first reported sighted or announced to hit "the street". In the end, we don't want anyone turning to BTW for the information instead of buying the product. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 10:24, 12 March 2012 (PDT)
The title was reportedly on shelves as of yesterday, so moratorium expiration of 21 May is confirmed.--Revanche (talk|contribs) 18:22, 22 March 2012 (PDT)
