Nova Cats[edit]
According to Path of Glory, the Nova Cats captured a Noruff, sometime prior to 3061. How does this fit with the "we built only one" text? ClanWolverine101 18:59, 15 September 2012 (PDT)

- I think it was TR 3057 which said only one prototype was built. Haven't read Path of Glory, but maybe they captured the original? LittleWolf 13:46, 16 September 2012 (PDT)
- I dunno - they specifically state in the novel that it was captured, and that it was the only one the Nova Cats had. Realistically, the novel writers often found ways to incorporate the latest 'Mechs and other equipment into their books, probably pushed by the editors to encourage readers to buy the newest miniatures. Meh. But yeah - nothing in the novel makes it even sound rare overall, just unique to the Nova Cats. ClanWolverine101 16:02, 16 September 2012 (PDT)
- Actually, TRO:3057 states: "...only one Noruff - the prototype - is operational... launched in June 3056..." Meaning that only one is operational at the time of publication; it says nothing about "only one has been constructed". Given that TRO:3057 is dated in-universe at January, 3057, it's a fair bet that only the Noruff operational at that time is Noruff itself, but others are under construction and were subsequently launched; one of these being captured by the Nova Cats I seriously doubt that an orphan-class dropship (as opposed to warships) would've been included in the TRO. -- Fireangel (talk) 04:50, 19 January 2016 (PST)
