Attempts to clean up this article[edit]
I'm having a really hard time trying to clean up this article...I think the issue is that the article is focussing so much on the story told events of "Elements of Treason: Duty" that it is difficult to get the big picture of the significance of this character. Some of the elements of this article, while pertinent to the story, aren't pertinent to an encyclopedic article.
Can someone confirm that the following is a streamlined correct version of this article? I don't actually have access to "Elements of Treason: Duty", so I don't know if my interpretation is actually correct.
Thanks!
"Rebecca was a Trueborn cadet of Clan Jade Falcon of the Hazen Bloodline.
Rebecca was initially assigned to Falconer Derwin's cadet unit on Kerensky's Vision.
On 12 October 3151, Rebecca's training was interrupted by a raid from the 1st Tamar Jaegers, led by Colonel Kritsada Sirisopa. The raid's objective was to capture as many Jade Falcon cadets as possible for conversion into bondsmen.[1]. Despite a valiant effort by Derwin and the cadets, the Jade Falcon defense collapsed after Derwin was killed in combat. The First took the rest of the surviving cadets as bondsmen, with Rebecca becoming the personal bondsman of Colonel Sirisopa.
Colonel Sirisopa taught Rebecca siloat Pattani, knife throwing, and even cooking during Rebecca's time as a bondsman. [2]
On 27 April 3152, Colonel Sirisopa and Rebecca were both present at an Arcturan ducal marriage when a group of rogue Jade Falcons attempted to assassinate the Tamar Pact's leadership. Rebecca used the skills learned from the Colonel's training to foil the assassination attempt. In recognition of Rebecca's actions, Sirisopa cut Rebecca's bondcord and welcomed Rebecca into Tamar's army. In response, Rebecca requested that her name be changed to Rebella Sirisopa. [3]"
