Major General Thomas Merryweather was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 89th BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]

Born in the Federated Suns, Merryweather struggled to keep his Division supplied in the face of Capellan Confederation imposed restrictions, and was forced to express his frustrations to his CO General Kaatje Van Pelt.[1]
