History

Time Fliers were a mercenary unit, apparently composed only of flying units. They were contracted, through a Fox Khanate mediator, by planet Warren ruler, Baron Oded Ruisch in to protect the planet, complementing the baron's household guard, in the face of Taurian Concordat aggression, during the Pleiades War. The Fliers responded quickly to minor Taurian raids, even driving off a company of the Concordat Commandos on December 3151. But in February 3152, the Blue Summer on Warren changed everything. The Blue Summer was a infestation which happened a thrice a century event, caused by vast swarms of Tepes Locust, blue insects, which eat everything they found. The animal and vegetables razed caused a famine on the planet. The Baron, seeking to buy food shipments, cancelled the salary of the Flyers. Mediator Darren arrived to Warren to investigate the situation, ordering him the Baron to pay the Flyers with his hidden accounts, but he refused, so Darren nullified the contracts and paid the mercenaries in full with funds from Sea Fox accounts. Time Flyers soon found a new contract on Panpour, and the baron became the Foxes' problem, which they quickly bankrupted and send to a jail, using only legal means. The Fliers were very grateful to the Foxes' intervention, and the incident calmed the mercenary fears about the Sea Foxes honorability, which helped them attract more honorable mercenaries to their services.
