Vice Admiral Trudel Larsen was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 61st Line Squadron as of 2764.[1]

The scion of a leading Terran family, Larsen was ambitious and politically connected, as well as being willing to do whatever necessary to get ahead. He reputedly kept his Squadron near 6th Fleet headquarters on Tantara, in order to focus on advancing his career interests.
Star League Intelligence Command also had suspicions that Larsen, whose own unit was kept well supplied and maintained, was the cause of the repair issues faced by his rival Vice Admiral Ziva Kleinerer's 64th Pursuit Squadron. Larsen was also not liked by other 6th Fleet Squadron commanders, including Vice Admiral Kalwa Seppanen of the 62nd Reconnaissance Squadron, who kept his ships away from Tantara (and therefore Larsen) as much as possible.[1]
