Major General Valentina Magellan was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's LXI Corps as of 2764.[1]

Before being appointed to LXI Corps, Major General Magellan had a reputation for being an offensive commander, seeking to force reactions from the enemy and keep them off balance. Once with LXI Corps however, she adopted a more conservative approach, in line with the defensive capabilities of her new Divisions.
As a leader, her focus was avoiding drama amongst her officers, even if that result in losing to transfer some ambitious subordinates.[1]
Star League Intelligence Command assessed Aubrey Dade's complaining about his lack of promotion had a materially negative impact on the morale and effectiveness of Aubrey's Corps' staff operations, and in light of these findings SLIC considered advising Valentina to replace him.[1]
