Description[edit]

Product of StarCorps Industries in the early thirty-second century, Zibler Fast Strike Tank is a Hover type OmniVehicle which has seen service throughout the Inner Sphere. It typically uses its balance of high speeds and respectively armor to engage its enemies in flanking and supporting roles. Being Omni-type, the tank is used in tandem with other similar combat vehicles or other Ziblers.[4]

Weapons and Equipment[edit]

Powering the Zibler is a 165 rated standard Fusion Engine, which gives it its breakneck speed for its tonnage. As OmniVehicle, the Zibler can be fitted upward to 18 ton worth of weapons and equipment. The tank is protected by 7 tons worth of Heavy Ferro-Fibrous Armor with addition of CASE being permanently fitted.

The Zibler's Primary Configuration is a geared towards engaging enemy at close-in ranges. Prominently, the Prime has four standard Medium Lasers & three 4-tubed Streak Short-Ranged Missiles found in its turret. Among other equipment fitted to the Vehicle is Targeting Computer, two additional Heat Sinks, and a C3 Slave Computer.[5]

Alternate Configurations[edit]

  • Alt. Config. A
Designed to engage enemies at long-ranges, A Configuration sports four Light AC/2 Autocannons mounted in its turret. The autocannons have been given Ninety rounds of ammunition drawn from it two-ton ammunition bay. BV(2.0)=664[6][7]
  • Alt. Config. C
The C Configuration has a light weight long-range fighting capacity, while it’s more powerful when it attacks at close-ranges. Its long-ranged capacities come from a pair of 7-tubed Multi-Missile Launchers with two tons of ammunition. While entering short range, this launchers switch modes and combines their firepower with a single Snub-Nose PPC. The C's configuration also sports a C3 Slave Unit help coordinate its attacks with other C3 Units. BV(2.0)=1,017[10][11]
  • Alt. Config. D
Considered to be a heavy fire support unit, using its single Heavy PPC found in its turret. To aid the vehicle ability to hit its target better, the configuration also has a Boosted C3 Slave Unit. BV(2.0)=1,021[12][13]

Notes[edit]

The Zibler Fast Strike Tank was first created by Wizkids' MechWarrior Dark Age Collectable Miniatures game as a part of its Age of Destruction expansion set. It was later adapted by Catalyst Game Labs and redefined once the company advanced the franchise's timeline to 3145.

The Zibler is subject to the following Design Quirks:[14]
