Major General Sau Trappendorf was a senior officer in the Star League Defense Force leading up to and during the Amaris Coup.[1][2]

History[edit]

Commanding officer of the 151st Royal BattleMech Division from at least 2764 until 2776, Trappendorf was promoted to the command staff of the Ninth Army in 2776.[3][2] He nominated Lauren Hayes as his successor; formerly the Executive Officer of the 151st Royal BattleMech Regiment, Hayes had stepped up to acting command of the regiment after the death of Colonel Reynolds on Krimari, before being moved onto the command staff of the 151st Royal BattleMech Division during the reorganization of the SLDF prior to the launch of Operation CHIEFTAIN.[2]

During his time with the 151st, an attitude of superiority over non-Royal SLDF units was rife, which Trappendorf permitted though did not officially condone.[1]

Notes[edit]

Sau's name is spelled in some sources as Sau Tappendorf.[1]
