Major Simon T. Kroger Jr was the commander of the 50th Heavy Cavalry Battalion ("Bloody Half-Hundred"), and its Battalion Command Lance ("Kroger's Own"), of the Eridani Light Horse's 151st Light Horse Regiment as of 3025.[1][2]

History[edit]

The command of the Bloody Half-Hundred was, as of 3025, a hereditary position. Simon T. Kroger Jr was a 7th generation decedent of Major Teller Kroger, who led the assault on Sendai in 2798 to avenge the slaughter of the Light Horse's civilian dependents by Draconis Combine authorities later remembered as the Sendai Massacre.

Simon was thin and wore glasses, and looked more like a computer operator than a MechWarrior. When operating his 'Mech however, his illustrious breeding showed through.[2] His performance was sufficient to retain command of the Bloody Half-Hundred as a hereditary role, with it remaining in the family until at least the Dark Age, at which time it was held by Simon's decedent Major Franklin Kroger.[3]

BattleMech[edit]

Kroger was known to pilot a BattleMaster BattleMech, which was inherited from his storied ancestor Teller Kroger.[1][2]
