History
Elijah Satoh was a Tai-sa in the DCMS. During the Combine operations in Barlow's End in September 3026. When Minobu Tetsuhara, the Ryuken commander is injured in a sabotage act thought to be made by Davion forces, he takes command of the operation.
He is an arrogant but incompetent officer, and when the operation runs afoul of much stronger resistance than expected in the form of the White Witches and Eridani Light Horse mercenaries, Satoh cannot adapt to the changing situation as the attack unravels. After Wolf's Dragoons manage to destroy the prototype, they do not capture it as they are forced to retreat, which they end up doing. Satoh, accusing the Dragoons of abandoning him, refuses to evacuate until his HQ comes under attack on the following day. At that point, Michi Noketsuna decides he is a liability for the Ryuken and shoots him after all others have left the HQ.[1]
