Overview[edit]
The 257th Battle Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the V Corps, Eleventh Army, to District 1 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region. It served as a reserve for the Corps, maintaining a presence on Sakhalin that was on the opposite side of the world from the rest of V Corps. This allowed the unit to maintain its independence.[1]
It was later transferred to District 3 by 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[2] The 257th was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
