Overview
The Two Hundred Fifty-ninth was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXVII Corps, Twentieth Army, of the Periphery Military Region. They formed a battle group with the 218th and 223rd Hussar Regiments and were stationed on Carlisle in 2765.[1]
They later moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765.[2] The 259th suffered heavy losses in the Hegemony Campaign, and was disbanded in 2784.[2]
Composition
As an SLDF Battle regiment the 259th would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs.[3]
