The Twenty-seventh Royal CAAN Marine Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.

History[edit]

In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXIV Corps, Eighteenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region. In 2765 the Twenty-seventh was stationed on Port Krin, a world that was to be the base of operations for future expansion into the Periphery. The Twenty-seventh garrisoned many Terran Hegemony and Department of Mega-Engineering facilities on the world.[1]

Later it was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery by 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[2] The 27th was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
