Overview
The Two Hundred Ninety-eighth Battle Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LIX Corps, Twentieth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[1] Unlike other units, it frequently operated alone instead of as a part of a Regimental Combat Team.[2]
The 298th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2766.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF Battle regiment the 298th would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs.[3]
