Overview

The Forty-second Hussar Regiment (member of 1st RCT) was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

History

In 2765, the unit was assigned, as a part of the IV Corps, Tenth Army, to District 3 of the Free Worlds League Military Region. The Forty-second formed part of the First Regimental Combat Team, along with the 75th Light Horse Regiment, 138th Dragoon Regiment, and 195th Royal Light Horse Regiment.[1]It was later moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery.[2]. The 42nd was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]

Composition

As an SLDF Hussar regiment the 42nd would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[3]
