History
Existing in name only, the 44th had its component Stars doled out to protect merchant vessels. The extent of this was such that some high-ranking officers questioned whether the warriors within this cluster were more loyal to the merchant caste than their own.

Tactics
While having developed solid zero and low gravity tactics, the fact that the Cluster never fought together meant its unit cohesion was nonexistent.
