History

From their time with the SLDF, through the Succession Wars until now, this unit was the core of every single larger campaign which included more than one Lancers regiment. The sheer mass of the unit frightened their opponents sometimes into retreat rather than face the overwhelming force. The Unit has defended the Capellan March with the other Illician regiements for the last 60 years.

The Fourth and Twenty-first Rangers assaulted Gei-Fu with the task to destroy the Third Capellan Defense Force. After the mission was successful completed, the 4th Rangers faced Renshield’s Dragoons on Hexare. The CCAF unit forced the mercs to retreat.

After the end of the Jihad, the Fourth Illician Rangers were stationed on Montour, a world along the Federated Suns/Taurian Concordat border.[1]

Officers

Colonel Alicia Ramaley has lead the regiment for the last twenty years after a time loaned to the AFFC.
