The 687th Artillery Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

History[edit]

In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XXXI Corps, Thirteenth Army, to District 3 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery.[1] The 687th was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[1]

Before its destruction the 687th worked with the other independent regiments of XXXI Corps to support the Divisions that made up most of the Corps. This was a complete reversal of the usual role of independent regiments.[2]
