Overview
The Seventy-fifth Royal Hussar Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
The 75th Royal Hussars played a notable rule in the First Hidden War against the Combine when its newly arrived Champion, Colonel Donovan Fresnel became the first SLDF "Gunslinger" to achieve a draw against a DCMS Marauder in 2687 on the world of Minakuchi during an hour-long duel. [1]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the VIII Corps, Fourteenth Army, to District 1 of the Draconis Combine Military Region and then transferred to District 2 by 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[2]The 75th was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
Composition
As an SLDF Hussar regiment the Seventy-fifth would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[3]
