The Alfred Wegner was a JumpShip of unspecified type, under captain Halabi.
The Alfred Wegner was a terraforming vessel assigned to the Department of Mega-Engineering. Led by Doctor Emerett Bohr, the ship was involved in Project PISCES UMBRELLA. It was destroyed in an undisclosed planetary system by unknown forces that had somehow located them and sent a large number of hostile forces, a Pinto -class corvette among them. Though the Alfred Wegner tried to escape, and even contacted their commanding officers via Black Box communication, help came too late.
The ship's wreckage was found drifting in the Project PISCES UMBRELLA target system on 2 April 2765.[1]
