The Avalon Knight was a DropShip in service with the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns.[1]

The FSDS Avalon Knight was one of the DropShips that took part in Operation SCOUR, the liberation of the Word of Blake Protectorate. The Avalon Knight was serving as part of Task Force CRONUS in the Sol system in 3078 when it witnessed first hand the destruction of the ISS Excalibur, a Zechetinu II-class corvette. The crew of the Avalon Knight reported that a Blakist Drake-class drone fighter collided with the Excalibur amidships, completely penetrating the hull on both sides of the corvette.[1]
