Barry Segal was a MechWarrior, who served within the Bannson's Raiders' Band of Five, during the Dark Age Era.[1]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Segal had black hair and green eyes. His glasses, scrawny build and nasally voice, made him appear more than a class nerd, rather than the cold-blooded killer he really was.[1]
History[edit]
The child of two scientists, who both worked for one of Jacob Bannson's think tanks, Segal was both a brilliant technophile and a homicidal maniac. Despite attending the best schools money could buy, and having a stable and loving home life, once he joined Bannson Universal Unlimited himself Segal quickly became dark and turned towards combat. A number of rumors arose in relation to this change, from a mental illness, to an his having been the subject of an unethical mind-altering experiment. In combat, Segal rode the heat curve, delighting in the death and destruction which resulted, while cackling in glee over an open radio channel.[1]
From at least 3132 to 3133, Segal was a member of a Savage Lance within the Band of Five, commanded by Cita Moreno. His other Lancemates were Bill Maignlov and "Angel" Faust.[2][3]
BattleMech[edit]
Segal was known to have piloted a Black Knight BattleMech, serial number RS27-30E, nicknamed "Glory Blaze". This 'Mech was initially built for the Republic of the Sphere.[1]
