Description

During the late Jihad era, Ghost Bear Dominion was making a frenzy of purchases of military equipment to bolster its Touman. The Ghost Bears needed access to a new medium BattleMech using Clan technology, resulting in the development of the Beowulf IIC. The design was produced by Odin Manufacturing, which had been flush from their earlier successes selling other designs to the Ghost Bear military. As quick method answer the call, they created Clan version of one of their older Inner Sphere design.

The design serves as a cavalry design, used in task of flanking and harrying an enemy. When it first enters service, the Beowulf IIC served as a companion unit to Ghost Bear's Ursus. The 'Mech bolsters maneuverability of Jump Jets, high-speed boosted by the addition MASC, with eleven tons of Ferro-Fibrous Armor to protect itself in heat of battle. As effort to help combat electronic threats on battlefield, it also mounts an Advanced all-in-one Watchdog Composite Electronic Warfare System. Another task in its mission profile, it serves spotter using it Light Tag.[3]

Armament

The 'Mech weaponry includes a single Series PPS-XX Extended Range Large Pulse Laser, which serves as 'Mech's main battery. Backing up the right arm weapon is a pair of smaller Extended Range Medium Lasers mounted in it left.[4]

Notes

Design Quirks: Bad Reputation, EM Interferrence, Exposed Actuators, and Extended Torso Twist.
