Borodin's Vindicators came into existence in late 3058 when Mandrinn Tormano Liao formed the unit with stolen money from the Free Capella movement's coffers.[1] Most of the unit's personnel came from the Tikonov region and were descendants of the Republican Guard soldiers.[1]

Xin Sheng Campaign[edit]
After the end of the Capellan-St. Ives War, tensions between Borodin's Vindicators and the Blackwind Lancers boiled over. The Vindicators hated the fact that Mandrinn Tormano Liao forced them to play second fiddle to the Lancers.
