History

The Bronze Keshik was traditionally the command unit of Gamma Galaxy, but followed the Warden Wolves into exile. It was rebuilt and became the command Trinary of Omega Galaxy.

Operation Revival

The Bronze Keshik fought on the following worlds during Operation Revival, the invasion of the Inner Sphere:

Periphery

  • The Keshik caught the defenders of Placidia completely off guard in August 3049 at Usilic Ridge to take the planet.[1]
  • In September 3049 the Keshik captured the sparsely populated world of Butte Hold without opposition.[1]

Wave Four

Wave Five

  • In November 3051 Gamma Galaxy along with the Bronze Keshik invaded Maestu. The Wolf landed only a few kilometres from the line of the First Lyran Guards though a swarm of defensive fighters. Galaxy Commander Furey unleashed a headhunter unit almost immediately upon landing. As the Headquarters came under attack the Wolves attacked all along the line and forced the Lyrans back towards the planet's capital city. However the faster moving Wolves cut off their retreat and forced the Guards to abandon the planet.[3]
  • The Bronze Keshik along with the Seventh Battle Cluster and Sixteenth Battle Cluster assaulted Skandia in February 3052. In a hard and relentless two week campaign the wolves fought the Third Drakøns at Biberist, Sumiswalk, Spiez and Moudon until the last Drakøns warrior was killed.[4]

The Refusal War

At the end of the Refusal War the survivors of the Bronze Keshik gathered a few Trinaries of the shattered Gamma Galaxy and travelled to join the Wolf Clan in Exile under Phelan Kell.[5]

Exile

The Bronze Keshik rebuilt and became the command formation of Omega Galaxy, Clan Wolf-in-Exile's garrison Galaxy.[6] In 3060 the Keshik was stationed on Morges and was still in position in 3067.[7]

In 3079 the Keshik was stationed on Grunwald alongside the First Wolf Guardians Cluster.[8]

Officers

Mikel Furey was the commander during Operation Revival, he was considered one of the best tacticians in the Wolf Clan.[2] The commanding officer in 3061 was Galaxy Commander Kirsten Carns.[9] She was still in command in 3067.[10] In 3085 Galaxy Commander Quenton Wolf had taken control.[11]

In 3145 the commanding officer was Galaxy Commander Annie Ward.[12]

Tactics

While Kirsten Carns was the commander all Elementals of the Keshik were trained as artillery spotters.[9]
