History
The Charleston was an Avenger-class DropShip with the Com Guard Terran Defense Fleet. Together with the DropShips Alexander Nikolayev, Jeanne D'Arc, Casablanca, Sawakaze and Trafalgar the Charleston went into battle against the Word of Blake's Liberation Flotilla when it attacked Terra on 28 February 3058, opposing Task Force Gold in particular.
Task Force Gold consisted of the DropShips Knox, Azov, Hobart, DeGrasse, Hallard, Fife and Perry. The Com Guard vessels managed to destroy approximately fourty percent of Task Force Gold's ships, primarily transport vessels.[1] It is unknown if the Charleston survived the battle; overall, the Word of Blake forces carried the day and Terra was conquered.
