Clan Descripition
A fractured Crusader Clan, Clan Fire Mandrill is divided into a number of Kindraa (Kindred Associations) based upon Bloodnames. Unlike the Cloud Cobras, this factionalism has cost the Fire Mandrills much and they are often hard-pressed to deal with outsiders, due to their internal strife.
The Clan takes its name from geneticlly created Mandrill, called genus mandrillus sphinx. These Mandrill introduced by the Star League-In-Exile to Pentagon World of Eden earned the respect for their aggressiveness, loyality to one another, and which made ideal to Nicholas Kerensky to adopt as totem animal for his Clans.[1]

Formation
When IlKhan Kerensky choose form the twenty Clans, selected former DCMS Officer Raymond Sainze as senior Khan, while choosing much younger Laura Payne as his junior saKhan. Kerensky imposed forty warrior limit to invasion forces to be used in Operation Klondike.
Due to Khan Sainze's samuari traditions he was raised, his pushed his ethics of to excel and individual performance. However, his upbringings did not allow him to be open to make large number of new friends. This sense of compedition and lack of cohesion, would created first sign of Fire Mandrill's fractionism between bloodname warriors of Clan's original warrior caste. Thoses warriors early fractionism into clique would lead to the Kindred associates, later known as Kindraas.[2][3]
The Mandrills conducted series of pre-trials to determine the quanity of supplies and resources they would taken and use in the campaign. The Clan's Cluster that would be used in the campaign ended up with BattleMechs.
Operation Klondike

The Fire Mandrills would deploy on other side of the planet safe from massive SDS complex's weaponry. However, the Plan to invasion the planet did not go as planned for Fire Mandrills. Initial landings were harried due to navigation error, which sent number of binaries and critical campaign supplies around the mountains and costs of their object: the Continent of Salò.
The loss of supplies kept and with some of its troops scattered slowed down of the campaign for the Mandrills. Only half of these supplies lost wilds of Mount Lucca were recovered. Though residents of Salò were not as organized or well armed, the Mandrill's wear tear on their equipment became weary. Causing techs to have make due with less, to jury-rigged much of touman's equipment.[4] Mandrills were able to take the city state of Garda, despite the clan's internal feuding.[5]
Most resistance through Fire Mandrill's operation areas were fortunately in weaken state, and were no match to Mandrill's high-tech firepower. As campaign came to its send phases, in the Night Labyrinth, which was home of vast canyons and rocky regions, the Clan's internal squabbling get best of them. The operation to clean up the last of resistance in their area would have been easy if not for Khan Sainze and saKhan Paynes. Both rivals bidded away advantages such as satellite recon, aerial surveillance for sake of out doing each other. Bogging down clean up which could gotten done in days to weeks.
