A border conflict between the newly-formed Lyran Commonwealth and Draconis Combine erupted in 2364, noted to be the worst in 20 years. The battle, involving a regiment of Kuritan infantry and a battalion of Skye armor, contributed to the instability of the "false start" of the Lyran Commonwealth. Davis Kelswa used it, alongside economic problems, to openly discuss having the Tamar Pact leave the Commonwealth.
